The elastic connecting strap is what connects the airbag vest to the attachment point of the saddle strap. This connection is essential and defines the first trigger of the C-Protect Air® deployment mechanism.
The strap is designed to detach from the device thanks to its ball joint. During a fall, it separates from the equipment and releases the firing pin from the cartridge, allowing the airbag to be inflated in a record time of 0.130 seconds.
